A pickle is more than just “a pickle”. For us, pickles have a real place at the table. Throughout history, pickles have had a major role in food culture. We’re inspired by the pickle – and use it to help us elevate comfort food to new levels. It continually serves as the muse to our tale of “beer, biscuits and pickles”.

Residing in a historic townhouse near Lafayette Square, Seaworthy is an oyster bar from the trio behind New York’s award-winning Grand Banks: brothers, sailors and New Orleans natives Alex and Miles Pincus and nightlife impresario Adrien Gallo. They've brought on acclaimed chef Kerry Heffernan and longtime bar director Lauren Schell, also from the Grand Banks team.

Grand Banks is a celebrated oyster bar aboard the historic wooden schooner, Sherman Zwicker. Inspired by the floating "oyster barges" that lined Manhattan's waterfront in the 18th and 19th centuries, Grand Banks features sustainably harvested oysters, nautically inspired cocktails, and awe-inspiring views.
In the fall of 2004, Taavo Somer and William Tigertt happened upon a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The idea of the restaurant was to make a rugged clandestine colonial American Tavern. The cuisine was also imagined to early American: Simple, Rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions.

Based in NYC, The Sabah reinvents the traditional handmade Turkish slipper with a modern silhouette. Founder Mickey Ashmore first fell in love with the slipper after receiving one as a gift while living in Istanbul. Comfort persuaded him to wear the shoes on worldly travels, but the look was "very Aladdin." Utilizing heritage construction techniques passed down from a familiar Turkish family, Ashmore shaved down the curl of the toe, added better quality leathers and launched the updated design as the Sabah. Now that "The Dealer," as Ashmore refers to himself, has gotten a good bit of media love in recent months, he insists on meeting each of his customers personally, ideally over a drink at his Manhattan showroom or, in correspondence.
